We shall be with you in the fellowship of the spirit!
Rise from the ashes and reclaim your life.
This meeting is designed for those men and women that are interested in the solution to the problem of alcoholism and addiction. We focus on understanding the problem so that we can point you to a solution in The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. We are not interested in war stories or opinions.
We will cover steps 1-12 as laid out by Cameron F in his Guide to the 12 Steps. Walking hand in hand through the steps as orginally intended by the first 100.
We provide temporary sponsors to get you working the solution.
We teach you how to carry the message to others, as that is the primary purpose for us to become servants.
Meetings are as follows each week:
Tuesday Evening 7:15pm-8:15pm EST
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.
A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Alcoholics Anonymous, also known as the “Big Book,” presents the A.A. program for recovery from alcoholism. First published in 1939, its purpose was to show other alcoholics how the first 100 people of A.A. got sober. Now translated into over 70 languages, it is still considered A.A.’s basic text.
Start your day of by meditating on today's Daily Reflection from Alcoholics Anonymous. AA Recovery.
Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions explains the 24 basic principles of Alcoholics Anonymous. Known as the "Twelve and Twelve,” the book dedicates a chapter to each Step and each Tradition. Chapters provide an interpretation of these principles for personal recovery and the organization of the group.
An excerpt in large type from Chapter 5 of the Big Book. This page, which includes the Twelve Steps, is often read at the start of meetings.
General Service Conference-approved.
Alcoholics Anonymous groups work with people who are serious about changing their lives and working the 12 Steps. Anyone who has the desire to quit drinking is welcome.
